The signed firmware is signature that is appended to the firmware when it is distributed. A processor will calculate its own hash and will only load an image that has a hash which matches one signed by a certificate it trusts.

 Itel S42 smartphone was launched in March 2018. The phone comes with a 5.65-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels at a PPI of 285 pixels per inch.

The Itel S42 is a Dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
